Synopsis

Internationally acclaimed ballet-star Polina Semionova is at the most important turning point of her life. In spite of the success she found at Berlin State Ballet she leaves the city in 2012 and with it her husband and family temporarily, to dance at American Ballet Theatre in New York. Carsten Fiebeler sheds light on her move in a personal portrait.
