Synopsis

Five different directors that at first glance have nothing in common – Julia von Heinz, Chris Kraus, Axel Ranisch, Robert Thalheim, Tom Tykwer – set themselves the ludicrous challenge of investigating their relationship with a shared father figure: Rosa von Praunheim. A very personal film about filmmaking and friendship, about the relationship between teacher and pupil, about violence, sex, tenderness, a silly hat and finally, about how to portray someone who has already mastered the art of self-expression like none other.
