Synopsis
Even 60 years after the end of World War II Jewish life in Berlin still takes place behind closed doors. Berlin directors Arielle Artsztein and Esther Slevogt open these doors for their film and follow life in the Jewish parish hall in Berlin’s Fasanenstraße for a year, look at day to day life and concerts, visit commemorations, weddings and ballrooms and most importantly – speak to the people who find a home, a workplace or a dance floor in this holy place.
