The family entertainment franchise DIE SCHULE DER MAGISCHEN TIERE, based on the bestselling book series of the same name by Margit Auer, attracted more than 8.5 million viewers to German cinemas. In 2021, 2022 and 2024, the films in the series were the most successful cinema films of the year and were each awarded the German Film Prize in the \u201cBest Attended Film\u201d category. In 2023, Alexandra Kordes and Meike Kordes were honored with the Bavarian Film Award in the \u201cBest Family Entertainment\u201d category for their work as producers for the second part of the series. Part 3 was also the first German film since 2019 to be awarded the \u201cGoldene Leinwand\u201d for more than 3 million viewers and the \u201cBogey\u201d for 1 million viewers in the first ten days of release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company produced international co-productions with countries such as France, Estonia, Austria, Poland, and Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meike Kordes is a member of the German<\/em> and the European Film Academy<\/em>. She is chair of the main board and a board member of the theatrical section of the German Producers Alliance<\/em> and a member of the Business Leader Advisory Council<\/em> of the Berliner Volksbank. As a representative of the Producers Alliance<\/em> Meike Kordes served as a jury member at the FFA for seven years and the BKM (Minister of State for Culture and the Media). She teaches at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf<\/em> and the DFFB Berlin<\/em> in the production division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2007 after being name Producer on the Move <\/em>by the European Film Promotion<\/em> she attended the Cannes International Film Festival as part of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meike Kordes produced her sister\u2019s shorts, while they both attended the Film University Babelsberg<\/em> Konrad Wolf<\/em>, including LATE AT NIGHT (Silver Bear, Berlinale). In addition she worked on productions outside of film school. Their collaboration continued throughout their formal education at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf<\/em>, resulting in the short film LATE AT NIGHT (Silver Bear, Berlinale).
